Technician, Test Engineering – Product Development [L1]

Summary:

We are seeking for a Technician who will join and support our Test Engineering team under Industrial Automation – Industrial Connectivity and Control (ICC) group. The ICC group is a leader in Digital Communications (RS485/RS232/CANbus), Intelligent I/O, I/O Link and PD-link for Industrial Customers. He/she will be working with Test Engineers on new product development activities. The position open is in Gen. Trias Cavite, Philippines.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid in gathering, analyzing and solving issues in engineering data
  • Ensuring optimum equipment utilization through immediate support in setting up engineering tester and handler
  • Provide support in basic trouble shooting, engineering qualification run, customer sample testing and New Product Development requirements
  • Give regular project update and accurate documentations on time

Key Qualifications:

  • Sound understanding of fundamental electronic devices and circuit theory
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Thrives in a global, multi-functional team environment
  • A proactive, autonomous, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in developing and debugging measurement solutions
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is a good team player, and has good verbal and communication skills
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of at least a 2-year Technology course (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Computer)
  • OJT in Electronics industry/manufacturing is an advantage
