- Pay: $70,000-$75,000

Proactively identifies and meets the needs of potential and current clients to ensure complete client satisfaction and drive retention. Responsible for building and maintaining a strong working relationship with all clients by serving as the primary contact on issue resolution, providing expertise on regulatory standards and conducting training on operational best practices.

Essential job functions (include the following):
- Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned accounts, understanding client present needs, pain points and future needs. Proactively collaborate with client to provide support and deliver solutions ensuring quality care.
- Work directly with pharmacy operations to address and resolve all service-related issues in a timely manner. Manage client expectations and communicate status updates through issue resolution.
- Develop strong working relationships and build trust with clients by consistently delivering exceptional service, support and expertise.
- Serve as liaison/quality assurance point of contact during new client onboarding process ensuring seamless and error free service. Assist in onboarding activities such as data collection and eMAR support.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews with facility management to review business deliverables and present value-added services.
- Conduct training sessions and education programs to clients with regard to operational best practices, regulatory compliance and pharmacy tools/systems.
- Manage client base through documentation in SalesForce CRM system. This includes tracking of activities, tasks, and contacts with clients.
- Serves as a team resource. Participate in the training and onboarding of new Account Managers
- Lead departmental projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Support and participate in local marketing initiatives to foster relationships, enhance brand awareness and assist in business development efforts.
- Use deep understanding of industry and client business to deliver tailored solutions and effectively position Guardian services in the marketplace.
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
Education and/or Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related experience including 2 years of account management experience in long term care pharmacy setting (advanced degree may substitute for experience);
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including excel, word and PowerPoint required
- Proficient in CRM Systems
- Proven experience effectively troubleshooting and solving client service issues in a positive and pro-active manner, while abiding by the pharmacy scope of practice and capabilities
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies.
Work Environment:
- Ability to routinely travel within assigned territory, predominantly ground travel in state or throughout multi-state area based on client territory and business needs.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Due to the collaborative nature of the business and the need to service clients, the employee must be able to interact effectively with others in an office environment, manage conflict, and handle stressful situations and deadlines.
- Requires desk work in office environment.
