Job Title: Associate Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a motivated Associate Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a basic understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing systems. As an industrial maintenance technician, you’ll work with equipment like PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and vision systems. You’ll also install and troubleshoot electrical components such as sensors, switches, and proximity switches.

Key Responsibilities

As an industrial maintenance technician, you will:

  • Read and understand blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Connect wiring to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment.
  • Replace switches and fuses, splice wires, and repair belts, chains, or cables.
  • Install and troubleshoot sensors, motors, drives, and proximity switches.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of automated machinery and control systems.

Essential Skills

To succeed as an industrial maintenance technician, you should have:

  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing technologies.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and vision systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Automation, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Completion of an Industrial Maintenance Certificate Program, Diploma, or Journeyman Card.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (day or night).
  • Recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule

  • Training: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • After training: 3-2-2 schedule with 12-hour shifts (day or night).
  • No rotating shifts—consistent hours on either 1st or 3rd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
