Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join a team that specializes in large-scale industrial metal fabrication for sectors such as Wind Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine, Infrastructure, and Pressure Vessels. We are seeking skilled assemblers to contribute to the assembly of wind tower sections by installing internal components. This role involves a variety of tasks including installing platforms, studs, plugs, outlets, power junction boxes, terminating main cables, performing paint touch-ups, zinc flanging, and conducting detailed inspections.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install internal components in wind tower sections.
• Install platforms, studs, plugs, outlets, and power junction boxes.
• Terminate main cables efficiently.
• Perform paint touch-ups and zinc flange where necessary.
• Complete inspection process following detailed instructions.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical background.
• Ability to locate, reference, understand, and apply work instructions.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Capability to work independently and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring is preferred.
• Experience with tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, scrapers, sandpaper, electrical wire tools, torque wrenches, tape measures, impact wrenches, punch sets, hammers, drills, power sanders, grinders, and buffers.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 1st Shift schedule from 5am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays for 8-10 hours. The work environment is collaborative, using a variety of tools and equipment essential for the assembly process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
