Amazon is seeking a Senior Assurance Manager to join our Denied Party Screening (DPS) team. DPS owns enterprise-wide screening, and enables Amazon to comply with regulations as well as understand and manage sanctions risk. The Senior Assurance Manager will lead a team of experienced risk managers responsible for oversight of the DPS screening program, ensuring that systems and controls are operating effectively.
We are seeking a focused, pragmatic candidate with extensive team leadership experience, coupled with excellent analytical skills, solid business judgment, a controllership focus and an ability to drive the right results.
You are an effective project manager that plans and conducts assurance assessment and testing from beginning to end, while also overseeing and guiding the work of your team. You will be responsible for prioritizing findings and recommendations in line with our corporate strategy and regulations. You should be able to facilitate multiple stakeholders to agree on appropriate solutions and verify that risks are mitigated appropriately. You will also provide subject matter expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams on sanctions compliance obligations and risk mitigation strategies. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $198,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
