We are recruiting to make this vision a reality within the Business Payments Products organization to make the customer’s shopping and paying experience delightful.

The Role

The Business Payments Products team manages Amazon’s business credit programs. We are looking for a candidate with proven product and technical expertise experiences to own and drive the expansion and adoption of our business credit products. The successful candidate will work backward from the customer to innovate on product features, design the end-to-end customer experience for our credit programs and work with engineering teams to deliver the same. The scope of this role stretches across multiple Amazon organizations and requires close partnership with stakeholders with diverse backgrounds, as we look to create additional internal and external business opportunities further deepening the integration of our products with Amazon Business and external partners.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and strong in more than one or all of the following areas:

• Lead product definition – Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and develop new product features and services that deliver bar-raising customer experiences.
• Drive product creation – Work with dedicated engineering, design, and research teams to define and iterate on features, business, and technology strategy for your product. Manage trade-offs effectively.
• Partner with teams in other organizations to ensure support and visibility of your and the broader team’s plans.
• Own executive reviews – Present business and product vision, progress, and dependencies to executive stakeholders in multiple teams. Also contribute to broader team and organizational planning documents, including owning and driving them for your area of the business and product.
• Create and drive business strategy – Define how we measure success. Own reporting on KPIs, recommendations that use data to optimize them, and execution of those optimizations.
• Drive mechanisms to optimize the team’s efficiency, alignment and ability to scale.
• Lead the product go-to-market process, user testing, defining and managing program metrics.

The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.

Key job responsibilities

Define, own and execute the product roadmap. Propose and incorporate feedback from senior leaders in an ongoing basis to ensure the roadmap meets the needs of customers and business objectives through a multi-year plan.

About the team

The Business Payment Products (BPP) team leverages partnerships with third party financial institutions/ Non‐banking FI [FIs / NBFIs] to:

• Enhance the E2E payment experience by creating disproportionate value for businesses purchasing on Amazon Business (AB)
• Drive customer engagement and adoption of AB globally by developing payment products, features and services that generate High Value Actions (HVAs) to increase share of wallet
• Maximize Amazon’s free cash flow through the development of financial services programs for business customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• 5+ yrs. engineering, product management, or relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
