Job Summary
The Oracle ERP Systems Analyst supports the Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS) suite, focusing on financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Budgetary Control. This role is ideal for a technically skilled analyst with strong SQL experience and reporting proficiency who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex data and system issues. The analyst partners with the ERP Architect and business users to drive enhancements, ensure data accuracy, and support ongoing release and operational cycles.
Your Key Job Functions
- Provide daily functional and technical support for Oracle ERP modules—GL, AP, FA, Intercompany, and related configurations.
- Write and run complex SQL queries for ad hoc analysis, issue resolution, and system reconciliation.
- Create and support OTBI and BI Publisher reports for finance and accounting users.
- Participate in system configuration, regression testing, and impact analysis tied to Oracle quarterly release cycles.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to understand requirements and design solutions aligned to compliance, audit, and operational needs.
- Troubleshoot financial transactions and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Document key processes, test scripts, and support materials for training and operational use.
- Work with integration and data teams to support inbound/outbound flows (e.g., FAH, journal imports, 3rd party systems).
- Ensure alignment with SOX/internal controls, data governance, and security standards.
- Stay current on Oracle Cloud ERP updates to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree / Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
- 3–5 years supporting ERP platforms (Oracle Cloud preferred) with functional knowledge of financial processes.
- Strong SQL proficiency required for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience building or supporting OTBI/BI Publisher reports a significant plus.
- Familiarity with period close processes, intercompany transactions, and audit controls.
- Detail-oriented problem solver with strong documentation and testing skills.
- Comfortable working across both technical and business teams.
- Self-driven with high accountability and urgency.
