We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an onsite Inventory Control Technical Lead to join our dynamic team in Duluth, GA!

Join our dynamic Materials Team and be at the forefront of optimizing global fulfillment! This role will be instrumental in ensuring our manufacturing, service, quality, and engineering departments have the materials they need, precisely when they need them. This role is crucial for maintaining rigorous inventory process controls, directly impacting our cost-efficiency, schedule adherence, and unwavering commitment to quality.

The day-to-day

You will be responsible for monitoring the execution of the cycle count scheme to include supporting causative research of inventory variances and ensuring the Oracle inventory transaction profile is completed accurately. Additionally, you will support maintaining physical to system inventory accuracy at the highest standards possible. The person in this position will also monitor Returns to Stock and assure they are processed into inventory properly. This also includes assuring that Work order Completions are completed in a timely manner and ensure the process is working efficiently. You will also ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods inbounded from receiving or quality into stockroom locations.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years’ experience in material control and physical inventory maintenance.
  • Experience with inventory stocking and consumption practices in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to monitor and direct resources in completing daily tasks and projects.
  • Experience using the Oracle Inventory and Manufacturing modules with projectized data.
  • Proficient with Oracle report creation and the OBIEE reporting tool.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to impart process and technical knowledge in a role of influence.
  • High School Diploma.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Experience with cycle counting processes and variance resolution.
  • Ability to analyze internal reports and metrics to identify areas of opportunity to drive value-based decisions.
  • Experience stocking and handling ESD/MSD sensitive materials.
  • Experience in training and process implementation.
  • Experience with Life-Limited Material and Supplies Control.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross functional projects and driving them to completion.
  • APICS CPIM or comparable professional certification.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
  • AA Degree or Higher, or equivalent experience.

Salary range

$22.36 - $35.1 / hourly.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $27.64 - $41.59/ hourly
