  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery, with focus on quality management and test automation.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and automated test suites for ITSM product features, ensuring thorough coverage across functional, performance, and security aspects.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of product functionality and integrations within other products of Matrix42 Portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain internal TA framework, ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, and effective in detecting issues early in the development cycle.
  • Work closely with other engineers and product managers to understand requirements, provide input on testability, and ensure that features meet high-quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner. Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools, advocating for best practices in testing and quality assurance within the team.
  • Participate in release planning and ensure that quality standards are met for all product releases, including final sign-off on product readiness.

MUST HAVES

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in testing software applications and developing test automation.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Protractor, Playwright, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience writing tests with Javascript/Typescript frameworks
  • Experience with private cloud infrastructure (VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies (preferably Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a focus on continuous integration and delivery.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, particularly in the Azure ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and practices, with experience in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
