Based in Auckland, we are a growing team that is on the look-out for software testers who bring a great level of experience with them. Ideally you will have a keen interest in music technology, DJing or Production to complement your solid background in testing. In return, you will get to work with a great team of people actively testing new products and features on the worlds leading DJ brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans for new products.
• Maintain software quality for existing products.
• Maintain testing status/progress using standard bug tracking tools.
• Advise approval of final code/hardware components.
• Create FAQ, release notes, and support materials for end-user support groups.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• An excellent standard of QA and testing with 1-3 years testing experience
• Experience working within a agile team
• Experience seeing the full SDLC of a feature or product
• Knowledge of database systems / SQL
• Manual and automated software testing experience (automation experience is desirable)
• UX / customer focussed testing approach
• Good technical investigative skills
• Experience in triaging, prioritising and organising defects
• Strong documentation and issue reporting skills
• Commitment to continued personal development

Great skills to have:

• A degree in computer science or related field
• DJ, musician or producer
• Knowledge of lighting control systems or audio processing software
