Description
The Associate Product Manager will support the product line of Natixis Investment Managers, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, separately managed accounts and collective investment trusts. Responsibilities include product reporting, assisting with product launches and changes, supporting the funds’ Board of Trustees and compiling industry and competitive research, among other items. The candidate will interact with various departments and personnel throughout the Natixis organization, including affiliated investment managers. This is a hybrid position located in Boston, MA and employees are required to be in the office 3 days per week.
What you will do:
- Product Reporting: Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in support of our product line and initiatives. This may include data such as performance, pricing, asset and flow trends and portfolio characteristics, among other items. Such data may be used for regulatory documents, Board of Trustee materials, marketing collateral or in response to requests for information (RFIs) or due diligence questionaries (DDQs). Respond to day-to-day data requests and questions from internal parties (e.g., Distribution, Fund Administration) and external stakeholders (e.g., affiliated investment managers, third-party data providers) related to product data needs.
- Product Launches and Product Changes: Conducting industry, asset class and competitive-level research to support the firm’s product development and management initiatives. Assist in coordinating new launches and product changes, maintaining project grids, participating in project meetings, and resolving issues. They will draft Q&As, emails, and other communications explaining product changes, and will prepare materials for internal committees and forums discussing product development and management initiatives.
- Fund Board of Trustees: Prepare clear and well-written memos and materials for the funds' Board of Trustees, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors. They will also handle the scheduling and production of portfolio manager presentations, ensuring accuracy of data and messaging, and maintain consistency of data, facts, and positioning within all Board materials.
- Other Responsibilities: Respond to ad hoc requests for competitive product analysis and industry data, work with external data vendors to ensure accurate data representation of Natixis’ products and, over time, they will also assist the ETF Capital Markets team with certain day-to-day responsibilities.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of previous experience in the investment management industry.
- Outstanding written skills and attention to detail is important. Previous experience preparing presentations, drafting proposals and other materials is very desirable.
- Strong quantitative skills are desirable, including proficiency in Excel, Morningstar Direct, FactSet, Bloomberg, ISS MI’s Simfund and other analytical tools.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- The candidate must be comfortable leading discussions in group settings, and voicing concerns or questions.
- This individual also needs to be detail oriented, possess excellent time management skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
