Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Define system concepts based on given product requirements for security solutions used in applications such as trusted connectivity, authentication, identification, and payment
• Specify architectural elements and their interaction as well as the hardware & software partitioning
• Derive requirements for embedded and host software and services.
• Align concept & requirements with key stakeholders, including concept engineering, system architects, application engineering, external partners, and customers, to ensure right-fit, scalability and reusability of system concepts.
• Contribute actively to innovation and strategic initiatives, as well as feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and technical assessments, by defining concepts and providing expert guidance
• Actively engage in standardization of strategic relevance

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or comparable
• Strong programming expertise (>3 years) in development of embedded SW (Native/Java Card) on ARM architectures
• Solid know-how of with Security Concepts, such as secure channel protocols, secure field updates, and secure coding (protection against logical and physical attacks)
• Solid understanding and experience with SW architectures and features
• Experience in Python would be valuable
• Basic experience with solution architectures for security applications (functions, modes, configurations options, …)
• Basic knowledge with requirement definition and management
• Experience with Windows/Office and Jama SW; Atlassian Jira/Confluence and System Modelling tools will be valuable
• Fluency in English
