Job Description:

The Events Associate will assist the Manager, Travel and Events with design and implementation of Firm events. They will support the Manager, Travel and Events with planning and executing timelines, ensuring consistency of processes and messaging for all Firm events. The Events Associate will coordinate attendee management through Cvent. Additionally, they will support relationships with vendors to execute Firm events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute event details through Cvent: websites, registration, mobile app, housing/travel, etc. (40%)
  • Assist with aspects of event planning process: travel & accommodations, attendance, registration, mobile app, logistics planning, virtual program logistics, etc. (35%)
  • Coordinate and assist with set-up and delivery of digital events and hybrid events (10%)
  • Assist with reporting and email campaign tracking (10%)
  • Help maintain vendor and internal relationships (5%)

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with event planning and coordinating preferred
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong ability to build relationships
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask/work on multiple projects
  • Travel up to 15%
