WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of the Supply Chain team within Bain’s Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE), based in our Mexico office. This team partners with Bain’s global consulting teams to drive cost reduction and operational excellence in Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. In some engagements, you’ll also collaborate with experts from our AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) team, gaining exposure to advanced analytics and data science capabilities.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with consulting teams and subject-matter experts to deliver critical supply chain insights and solutions that drive client impact. You'll help structure complex analyses, guide data interpretation, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Associate, you will:

  • Take ownership of project deliverables related to client supply chain operations.
  • Conduct analytics on unstructured data and navigate client systems with ease.
  • Come up to speed quickly on different industries and geographies.
  • Collaborate directly with Bain’s consulting teams and senior leadership to validate insights and shape strategic recommendations.
  • Use analytical tools and internal databases to extract, interpret, and present insights.
  • Deliver high-quality client-ready outputs with clear, actionable solutions.
  • Lead individual workstreams and contribute to team-wide deployments.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree in engineering, science, commerce, business, or economics and 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, OR
  • An MBA/postgraduate degree with a strong academic track record and 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in a consulting firm is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge in key supply chain areas (e.g., safety stock optimization, network optimization, demand/supply planning) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau/Power BI, Python, and Excel; experience with optimization modeling languages/solvers like Gurobi or Cplex is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment and deliver high-impact work.
