The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and solution-oriented Sales Program Analyst to support the planning, execution, and optimization of sales programs, promotions, and incentives. This role is pivotal in turning data into strategic insights, building financial and analytical tools, and enabling cross-functional teams to make informed, data-driven decisions. You’ll play a key role in evaluating program performance, optimizing spend, and driving sales effectiveness through scalable processes and insightful reporting.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you'll be joining the WorldWide Sales Support and Shared Services team, a vibrant and collaborative group of 23 professionals who work together across the globe. Our team thrives on the diversity of thought and perspective that comes from our global presence, fostering an environment where ideas can flow freely, and innovation is encouraged.

You will report to the WorldWide Sales Support and Shared Services Manager, who is dedicated to empowering team members and promoting a positive work culture. Our work setup is hybrid, requiring you to come into the office 2-3 days a week, allowing for meaningful in-person collaboration while also providing flexibility.

Your Role

  • Analyze sales programs and trade promotions to evaluate ROI, effectiveness, and impact on revenue and profitability.
  • Design and maintain financial models, calculators, and dashboards to support forecasting, scenario planning, and program performance tracking.
  • Conduct post-program and pipeline analysis to assess outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather business requirements and ensure alignment of tools and strategies.
  • Support the development of sales incentive programs, pricing strategies, and territory planning using robust data analysis.
  • Monitor customer and channel performance trends during program execution, identifying risks and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and manage sales program calendars and ensure execution across key accounts.
  • Provide ad hoc insights and reports to support strategic planning and enable decision-making.
  • Deliver training and documentation to drive the adoption of tools and models across internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms (e.g., CRM, TPM, ERP).

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or financial modeling roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros/VBA or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with querying and manipulating data using tools such as SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the software, tech, or SaaS industry.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales enablement platforms.
  • Ability to confidently present findings to stakeholders, including field sales teams.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
