Monday thru Thursday - 7am to 5:30pm
$80k to $90k a year depending on experience.
A leader in the aircraft industry and world-wide supplier of OEM antennas, continually improving a complete line of antennas featuring many significant advances in aircraft communication and navigation is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: Seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage an assembly line effectively. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the assembly line operations, ensuring that all team members are trained and following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to fabricate components and assemble products according to specifications.
- Monitor workflow and address any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the manufacturing facility.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or factory setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes is essential.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
