Job Description
As the Director of IT Operations, you will be at the helm of a dynamic, global IT ecosystem, driving excellence, innovation, and seamless technology services. Leading multiple IT support teams across various locations, you will ensure top-tier service delivery for multiple brands in the U.S. and internationally. Your impact will extend beyond day-to-day operations—you will oversee both internally managed and third-party IT systems that power critical business processes across the enterprise. - Be the IT Leadership Presence Onsite: Play a visible, hands-on leadership role in day-to-day IT operations, ensuring a strong connection between technology and business goals.
- Drive Innovation & Integration: Assess new technologies and service management practices, identifying opportunities for seamless integration into existing operations.

Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Proven IT Leadership: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—OR 10+ years of progressive leadership experience at the director level.
- Deep IT Expertise: 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and technical management, ensuring seamless business technology performance.
- People-First Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving IT excellence.
- Results-Driven Mindset: A powerful mix of education, progressive hands-on experience, and strategic IT leadership that delivers measurable business impact.
- Strategic & Tactical Mastery: A strong technical infrastructure and operations background, combined with expert project management and vendor negotiation skills, ensuring IT services run at peak performance.
- IT Service Management Pro: Recent experience designing, implementing, and managing ITSM processes—including Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management—to drive efficiency and reliability.
- Enterprise-Scale Operations: Experience leading infrastructure implementation and support across multiple data centres, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing IT environments.
- Influential Communicator: Ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with executives, management, and technical teams to drive innovation, streamline processes, and implement change.
- Process & Performance Optimizer: Strong analytical skills with a knack for tracking, measuring, and improving IT efficiency, ensuring continuous improvement and business alignment.
This role is based in Suva, Fiji however there will be some local travel as required as we have various locations around Fiji. Additionally, the occasional evening and weekend commitments are expected, ensuring comprehensive support for both project initiatives and ongoing operational needs.
