Head of Colleague Resources Operations - ANZ

As the Head of Colleague Resources (CR) Operations ANZ, you will lead the CR Shared Services function for Australia and New Zealand. The role reports to the Director of Colleague Resources ANZ, with a strong working relationship with CR Head of Shared Services, International.

This is a unique opportunity to work in collaboration with the global and international shared services teams, ensuring alignment to the global CR operating model. There will be a strong focus on leading the local shared services team to enhance our operational foundations, processes, and systems, while providing essential support for core people processes, fostering organisational growth and elevating our colleague experience,

With a strong focus on leadership, operational excellence, service delivery, and continuous improvement, this position is ideal for a experienced HR operations leader.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the Australian & NZ CR shared services & payroll teams
  • Collaborating with CR colleagues and Centre of Expert leaders
  • Acting as a key member of the Australian & NZ CR Leadership Team, working in partnership with International CR colleagues
  • Management of the development and implementation of CR operational ways of working, process improvement, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuously improve global employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding and mobility, to leaves, offboarding, compliance, and HR technology and workforce management systems.
  • Support our HR technology strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the HRIS team based in the US to optimise the CR service delivery model and improve Workday functionality in Australia
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement, efficiency and ensure ways of working are scalable for a growing business.

Payroll oversite:

  • Oversee the fortnightly payroll delivery across Australia & New Zealand.
  • Review, sign-off the payroll and approve wages’ payment.
  • Monitor the efficiency and accuracy of the payroll delivery

About you:

  • Degree in HR, business, commerce, psychology or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in HR operational leadership including processes, systems and HR operating models, across Australia and New Zealand
  • Previous experience working in a global matrix organisation
  • Expertise and knowledge in remuneration and benefits
  • Project Management Experience: Managing diverse projects on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating teams to achieve collective goals.
  • Strong Service Delivery Orientation
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Driving initiatives for operational excellence.
  • Experience with Workday with be highly regarded
