Summary

  • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • The Patient Information Security is responsible for greeting all persons entering the hospital. Demonstrates positive guest relations and creates a welcoming environment to hospital visitors. Reports to department leadership.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provides information, appropriate passes and directions to guest.
    • Responds to telephone inquiries related to patient information in a timely manner.
    • Utilizes information systems in maintaining patient access and facility control.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
    • None required.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Must possess basic computer skills.
    • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer skills.
    • Previous experience with automated visitor tracking software preferred.
    • CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Work is performed inside and outside the hospital in all weather.
