Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Reports to: Site Controller

On-Site Position: Williamsport, PA

Work Hours: 8am to 5pm with some overtime at month-end and during special projects.

The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Site Controller. Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

What a Day Looks Like:

• Reconciles using 3-way match between PO, receiving documents, and Vendor invoice.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries for tariff charges, non-production related items, and utilities.
• Creating an Excel report for Cash Funding request for payable approval
• Scheduling and preparing checks, ACH, and Wire payments
• Resolving invoice or payment discrepancies; insuring credit is received for outstanding credit memos and aid in resolving RMA issues.
• Send remittance information for ACH and wire transfers to vendors
• Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email
• Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings
• Files, maintains, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports
• Protects company’s values by keeping information confidential
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States and be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or Permanent Resident. We can not sponsor work visas.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of Manufacturing Accounts Payable Experience.
• Experience with Accruals
• High organizational skills and ability to multi-task 3-way match experience (Packing Slip/Receiving Doc, PO, Invoice)
• Working proficiency in Microsoft oice suite, including having strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookups, Sum-Ifs, Pivot Tables)
• Previous ERP Systems Experience·

This is a Non-Exempt position with pay starting at $20/hour with benefits.
