MANAGER PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The Industrial & Healthcare BU (Instrumentation Division (ATE Products)), located in General Trias, Cavite (Science Park Center), Philippines, is currently seeking an experienced Backend Manager/Engineer to build and lead a team. Products in this strategy are comprised of integrated high speed and precision Pin Electronics targeted towards Automated Test Equipment applications. This role will be responsible for developing and leading a team for high performance evaluation test solutions on Bench Lab Test Equipment for silicon verification, characterization, qualification and production support of manufacturing of Precision Mixed Signal products. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual that can lead a team, and has strong technical, analytical and communication skills. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced development team, and is expected to contribute, technically, in the various aspects of the team’s activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead, and manage a team of engineers that will support existing products in various aspects of customer support, failure analysis, production support and yield improvements.
  • The team will develop product evaluation test solutions for High Performance Analog / Mixed Signal integrated circuits. This will require extensive knowledge of the products and then will design hardware and software solutions to fully exercise the devices.
  • Work with production Test Engineers to help in terms of yield improvements and corrective actions in their existing hardware and software implementations.
  • Work with the Failure Analysis team in their product evaluation and analysis; as the product expert, this role will be critical in driving solutions to points of failure.
  • Evaluation of production test programs, correlating evaluation test solution results to design engineering simulation.
  • Circuit knowledge for this role is important.
  • Strong software skills are important for this role.
  • Manage and maintain projects schedules for the various aspects described above.
  • As the manager, good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and inspire others is a must.
  • Motivated, resourceful team-player who is willing to do 'whatever it takes' to get the job done.

Required Skills and Coursework Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree a plus) in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering, with 5+ years of experience involving analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits.
  • Strong knowledge of analog/digital devices and C based programming languages is important.
  • Using schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD, Cadence ALLEGRO will greatly help.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools.
  • Documenting and presenting findings.
