Boden Apple Valley, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Part Time Cook/Chef to join our growing team!

Boden Apple Valley Senior Living recently opened July 2022 in Apple Valley, MN. It is located right off 155th Street across from Target. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 64-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Schedule: Every other weekend

Cook/Chef Wage: $17.50 - 22.50 - Wage is based on experience.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include:

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
