The Job:

The Account Manager / Account Executive is responsible for the delivery and project management of Perm/Temp POS and Commercial Print campaigns on behalf of the client. The role covers all client brands, so we are looking for someone who able to multitask and handle several projects at any one time. Responsibilities include the day-to day management of all client requirements in relation to the category and full ownership for the end to end campaign management process from structural and creative brief through to delivery. It’s important that the successful candidate is able to challenge the brief, add value (technical recommendation, sustainable options, value engineering, optimisation…) and drive the client to cost savings and reduced time to market. The Account Manager’s / Account Executive’s primary focus is to deliver exceptional customer service; strong project management acumen and to build a strong relationship with the clients. He/She will be flexible, able to go to the client sites and visit retail/stores to check measurements of items when requested by the client. Requests for quotations will be processed in a responsive manner thanks to the support of the buying team, and clients will be updated regularly on the progress of their work. The AM/AE will, in conjunction with the central procurement team, select the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and timescales for each job and ensure that internal procedures are followed at all times. Orders will be processed in the most efficient manner available.

  • Suggest value engineering, optimisation, standardisation options to the client at the project level / at the category level.
  • With support from the wider business, issue escalation and resolution
  • Checking and approving/declining client briefs
  • Manage briefing process between client and supplier, with support from the buying team
  • Procurement and project management of complex permanent POS campaigns
  • Understand the client contract and the TAG proposition
  • Support clients on a day-to-day basis with end to end job delivery
  • Day to day use of Excel for budgeting requirements and data analysis
  • Use of TAG MI platforms accurately to obtain quotes and benchmarking info
  • Ensure quotes requested are generated within agreed SLA
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and attend meetings as required
  • Ensure site best practice and processes are followed, in conjunction with wider TAG operations group
  • Work to TAG operating budget and billing process and support the RD in providing weekly forecasts
  • Build strong relationships with clients and manage perceptions and expectations
  • Develop a good understanding of the client’s business and industry sector
  • Seek out industry developments and product innovations to drive innovation and cost saving initiatives
  • Constantly review and revise procedures and processes to ensure the most efficient means of working
  • Assist in the management of communication channels - team, client, suppliers and operations
  • Manage own time effectively in order to track multiple projects and priorities
  • Work in partnership with colleagues and wider TAG teams to achieve common goals
  • Take responsibility for own performance and for identifying areas of personal development
  • Promote the TAG culture by living the values

The Experience:

  • Perm/Temp POS and Commercial Print experience essential
  • Experience in FMCG/CPG/Consumer Healthcare essential
  • Very strong project management skills essential
  • Experience of Creative & Artwork processes an advantage
  • Client facing experience essential - strong customer service skills, service minded
  • Sound Excel skills and ability to analyse data
  • Excellent attention to detail, organised
  • Commercially strong and numerate
  • Team player, with positive outlook
  • Ability to build effective working relationships (client, colleagues and suppliers)
  • Strong communication skills – able to communicate effectively to clients and select appropriate method of communication depending on situation
  • Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing and specifications and client requirements move frequently
