Job Summary

The Restaurant Store, a Clark Associates company, is looking for part-time help to assist in our Lancaster distribution centers as Material Handlers during our busy season. These roles focus on picking and shipping orders accurately and efficiently to continue to grow our business and serve the purchasing needs of food service professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Scanning items before picking and packaging to ensure that the customer is sent the correct product
• Using picking and packaging techniques that allow orders to ship quickly and efficiently
• Making sure that orders packed are secure and able to travel to the customer safely
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment
• Cleaning and organizing work zone to ensure safety
• Communicating any workplace issues or concerns with the Shipping Supervisor
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by both the Shipping and Outside Assistant Shipping Supervisors

Available shifts are as follows:

1st shift: $18.50/hr. pay rate (Monday - Thursday)

2nd shift: $20/hr. pay rate (Monday - Thursday)

Weekend shift: $22.50/hr. pay rate (Friday - Sunday)

• Candidates should be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

• Previous warehousing experience preferred

Education

• No prior degree required; relevant experience is a plus
