Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the quality of our construction projects. The role involves implementing and managing quality control systems, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage quality control systems.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material certifications.
  • Lead quality control meetings and training sessions.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in construction quality control.
  • Familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1 standards.
  • Understanding of the three-phase quality control process.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • CQM certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control, preferably in civil or federal projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in civil or federal projects is preferred.
  • Ability to manage and lead quality control meetings and sessions.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted onsite in Blackstone, VA or Chester, VA during the project phase and remotely the rest of the time. The position requires some travel throughout the state, with per diems and lodging provided. The role offers a flexible work schedule, balancing onsite and remote work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
