About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes. You develop and maintain the cloud infrastructure as well as the CI/CD processes for Ericsson’s Intelligent Deployment integrated solution.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with software engineers to understand needs for cloud infrastructure and create efficient deployment processes.
  • Maintain and enhance automation scripts for system deployment and configuration management.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline for our applications.
  • Manage infrastructure services like Kubernetes cluster, databases, analytics platforms, etc.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure critical resolution of system issues by using the best cloud security solutions.
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
  • Improve infrastructure development.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.

The skills you bring:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration
  • Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services, especially AWS
    • AWS API Gateway
    • EKS, EC2, S3
    • IAM
    • application/network load balancer
    • Cloudwatch/Cloudtrail
    • Lambda & Serverless applications
    • Cognito
    • any AWS managed NoSql/SQL DB or MongoDB Atlas
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting in Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI, and CI/CD pipelines in general
  • Experience with Kubernetes, docker, helm
  • Experience with the followings:
    • Oauth2/OpenIDConnect and SAML authentication/authorization framework
    • Any message queue/topic/streaming technology/ webhook (rabbitmq/apache mq/kafka)
    • API development/deployment - Rest/soap/odata web services
    • Hands-on experience with cloud networking
    • Flux
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
