International Digital Services (IDS) is a strategic and pivotal unit, contributing to the Group’s transformation vision by providing leadership in new and breakthrough strategies and development of new and emerging business and operating models. As a business unit, it is focused on adjacent to Telco opportunities, continuously innovating to harness scale and synergies across the Group to deliver quality solutions to telcos and enterprises regionally and internationally. Beyond business, IDS champions an agile and streamlined operating model while serves as a launchpad for talent development.

The Telco Cloud & Solutions vertical is a key contributor to the IDS business and aims market breakthrough for SME Digitalization with a robust Cloud platform, intelligent solutions marketplace and serving a vibrant SME community for the region. As Cloud & Security QA Engineer, you will oversee and execute all project test phases for delivery, security and operations for the lifecycle of the Cloud platform and its marketplace.

Make an Impact by

• Design and execute the test cases for all service transition, operation patches and upgrade activities and all project deliveries. This includes SIT/UAT/PT/BRT, to ensure the smooth transition into operation and ensure operational SLA and performance KPIs met.
• Work with technical team and business team to design and develop the test cases, ensure all the scenarios covered. Present the test cases to stakeholders for approval. Execute the test cases
• Identify the areas for test automation, aiming the automation coverage above 80%+. Work with cross teams to introduce new ideal and technology to improve the test automation coverage above 90% over the time
• Track the defects and prioritize the severity according to business impacts. Ability to manage the triage sessions with functional teams to ensure the ownership of the defects and resolution commitments
• Manage multiple cross functional delivery teams, including direct and indirect solution providers
• Ability to manage multiple internal and external functional delivery teams to ensure testing timeline meet the committed schedule. Ability to escalate critical showstoppers
• Compile the detailed test reports over the course of test phases, and summary test reports at end of each test phases. Ensure the exit criteria is fully met.
• Ensure all the designed test cases and test results are documented and archived within knowledge base repository to future reference
• Work closely with engineering team to understand the operational state of the platform in production, assist and support the team to isolate the production issues with rapid resolution
• Work closely with engineering team to have good insight of the state of the platform and customer services. Assist and support engineering team to isolate the issues in order to fast track the resolution time.

Skills for Success

• Bachelor Degree (in Business, IT or EEE or related).
• Min 5-8 years industry experience working with test functions
• Extensive knowledge and experience in cloud environment testing and automation
• Good knowledge of Cloud technology and services, ICT and Cloud Products
• Experience in test case design and development under business and technical function aspects
• Hands-on BDD/TDD/ATDD practices.
• Working experience of design and developing Automation frameworks
• Working experience of AGILE methodologies
• Working experience of developing service virtualization
• Strong results orientation and take ownership
• Excellent team player
