Regional Director of Revenue Strategy

Pacifica Hotels is actively searching for an experienced California based Regional Director of Revenue Strategy to join our team. The Regional Director of Revenue Strategy will primarily be responsible for implementing and optimizing Revenue Management policies, procedures and strategies in order to maximize profitability. The Regional Director will also provide training, support and analysis to the property level management team.

Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following:

  • Implements company policies, procedures and programs. Establishes controls to ensure that they are followed, and that necessary reports are produced and distributed to key personnel.
  • Responsible for meeting revenue goals for assigned properties.
  • Reviews and analyzes weekly/monthly reports to monitor progress toward established targets and makes recommendations on how to maximize results.
  • Constantly works to improve 30/60/90 forecast accuracy at all hotels.
  • Collects and distributes Revenue Management reports to key personnel; maintains Pacifica database of Revenue Strategy reports.
  • Mastery in all distributions systems at all Pacifica properties.
  • Ensures rate level integrity among BAR rates, discounts and promotions.
  • Ensures rate & promotional strategies are developed and executed.
  • Constantly monitors competitive set to react to market conditions and exploit revenue opportunities.
  • Performs regular audits of rates in all distribution systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrates leadership and involvement in Company initiatives in Revenue Strategy.
  • Creates & produces detailed reports that summarize key performance indicators.
  • Regularly analyzes performance of key business segments and makes recommendations on how to optimize mix.
  • Develop action plans to outline department-specific goals.
  • Trains other team members on revenue management skills
  • Assists/ Supports VP of Revenue Strategy, Regional Directors of Operations & Property leadership teams in all areas of revenue strategy.
  • Communicates regularly with VP of Revenue Strategy on property performance, market trends and areas of concern on the horizon.
  • Carries out the Pacifica Hotels Mission Statement.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related assignments as directed by management.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree or equivalent hospitality experience
  • 5+ Years Revenue Management experience
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel as required for property support, meetings, trainings & conferences

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient with MS applications, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong presence and ability to interact with Senior Leadership
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • The Regional Director of Revenue Strategy does not oversee direct staff but will be required to provide direction and supervise projects with corporate & property staff as needed.

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • Indoors in corporate office, hotels and various offices. Outside travel by automobile, bus, taxi, and plane. Outdoors at hotels, on sales trips, attending functions inside and outside of California. Driving automobiles on roads and highways. Carrying promotional materials including trade show booth and boxes of collateral and supplies.

Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000
