We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Coordinator to join our team.

The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure janitorial services consistently meet or exceed client expectations at Alcon Laboratories. This critical role focuses on maintaining exceptional service standards, audit readiness, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across all operations. The ideal candidate will proactively identify and resolve issues, manage equipment and safety programs, oversee inspections, and collaborate cross-functionally to support both janitorial services and facility compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Oversight

• Ensure janitorial services meet or exceed Alcon’s expectations through exceptional attention to detail and personalized service.
• Differentiate Pritchard Janitorial by delivering a distinct competitive advantage through high-quality standards.
• Perform daily campus walkthroughs to identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Support manufacturing building shutdowns by attending pre- and post-shutdown meetings and ensuring checklists and schedules are completed.

Proactive Issue Identification & Resolution

• Conduct regular inspections using CleanTelligent, TRAX, and other software to document findings, monitor trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Utilize data and metrics to proactively identify service gaps, equipment issues, or potential compliance risks.
• Lead timely follow-up and resolution of all identified quality issues.

Audit Readiness & Compliance

• Maintain facilities in an audit-ready state at all times, streamlining audit processes and mitigating compliance risks.
• Communicate with Pritchard management to prepare for client audits and special requests.

Equipment Preventive Maintenance Oversight

• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for campus janitorial equipment, including ride-on scrubbers, floor machines, and cleaning equipment.
• .Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Manage vendor visits and ensure required contractor safety training and system access are properly managed in coordination with the Training Coordinator.

Safety Compliance – Eyewash & Safety Shower Inspections

• Manage and perform bi-monthly inspections of eyewash stations and safety showers across the campus
• Timely close out PM work orders using the Maximo system, ensuring proper job plans are followed. Document all inspections, note deficiencies, and coordinate necessary repairs to ensure compliance and equipment readiness.
• Maintain complete and accurate inspection logs for audit readiness and safety compliance.

Safety Program Support

• Monitor facility areas for safety hazards or deficiencies, reporting concerns to appropriate teams for resolution. • Assist in janitorial-specific safety programs, including PPE station checks, spill kits, and other safety-related equipment inspections.

Regulatory & Compliance Awareness

• Maintain working knowledge of applicable OSHA, GMP, and client-specific regulations that impact janitorial and facility services.
• Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training as required by Alcon or Pritchard.

Reporting & Metrics

• Provide detailed reports summarizing inspection results, service improvements, performance metrics, and safety compliance.
• Maintain organized documentation in Teams and designated digital platforms
• .Ensure work orders, floor logs, and service reports are current and accurate.

Team Leadership & Training

• Provide ongoing training and re-training of janitorial staff to ensure consistent adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, best practice adoption, and proactive problem solving.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a liaison between Pritchard, Facilities, Client Services, Safety, and client leadership to ensure seamless coordination of janitorial operations.
• Support special projects, shutdowns, or facility events that require janitorial services.

Continuous Improvement Leadership

• Analyze inspection and audit data to identify recurring issues or process gaps.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance service quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years of experience in janitorial services, preferably in a quality control, facility services, or janitorial management role in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with CleanTelligent / OTUVY, TRAX, or other quality management systems.
• Experience performing safety inspections, including eyewash and safety shower checks.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and GMP regulations applicable to janitorial services.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage data for operational improvements.
• Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting platforms.
