The Global Procurement Solution Architect role is responsible for supporting the Global Procurement Domain Architect in defining the global reference architecture (capabilities and technology standards) for end-to-end Source-to-Pay process, governing and ensuring the organization aligns with enterprise standards and uses common solutions, defining the solution architecture for global Procurement programs and providing architecture coaching/guidance to sector EA’s for sector specific Procurement initiatives, towards reducing IT costs and complexity and ensuring long term viability of solutions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or similar field, Masters preferred.
10+ years of software industry experience.
3+ years of solution architecture experience.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience of the source-to-pay business processes, including spend analytics, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay and supplier relationship management
Experience with key vendor software packages including SAP ERP and SAP Ariba or similar vendors in Source-to-Pay and supplier management areas
Ability to comprehend business strategies and needs and translate them to technology strategies.
Effective conceptual selling experience.
Ability to demonstrate a mindset for the Conceptual, Logical, Physical levels of architecture and apply them effectively.
Systems thinking, understanding of relationships between various systems.
Strong thought leadership and executive storytelling skills, assertive and trusted advisor, and ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
Understanding of integration technologies and patterns; data architecture and patterns.
