Purpose of Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of key initiatives within our Project Management Office portfolio. This pivotal role focuses on transformation and facilities at some of our key locations on the East Coast, ensuring projects are strategically aligned with WMA’s long-term operational strategies.

As a champion of change, you will oversee the end-to-end management of complex projects—from identification and planning through to execution—driving innovation and efficiency across our built environment. You will work collaboratively across departments to ensure all initiatives support WMA’s broader business objectives and contribute to a future-ready infrastructure.

You will have a strong focus on safety, training and processes and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multiple projects and programs concurrently.
  • Scope, plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of project and program lifecycle, from design to delivery.
  • Strategic thinking and understanding organizational goals and how to deliver within the project.
  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • Align project deliverables to ensure they realise the business strategy.
  • Manage project budgets, reviewing regularly for alignment or opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Define and implement quality requirements to ensure project success.
  • Support the delivery of successful transformation by integrating change management into the project and governance framework.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Min (3) years’ experience in a project management role in heavy equipment manufacturing or supply chain operations
  • Formal qualification in project management (PMP preferred).
  • Qualification in Engineering - mechanical, civil or structural
  • Demonstrable project management, transformation and change management skills and experience.
  • Experience in undertaking engineering projects with strong preference to civil and structural.
  • Ability to work with diverse group of professionals in close cooperation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Very organised and detail orientated
