Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Senior Program Administrator. The New Jersey Certified Public Manager Program is administered by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) and delivered by Rutgers University’s School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) to meet the complex demands and challenges of the 21st-century public management environment. The CPM program’s main mission is to provide management leadership training to Managers, Administrators and Supervisors working in local, state government, as well as in nonprofit organizations. To support the continued growth of the CPM Program and its ongoing student enrollment, the Senior Program Administrator will be responsible for the overall management of the certificate program which trains approximately 250-400 people per year. The Senior Program Administrator will report to the Dean of the School of Public Affairs and Administration.

Minimum Salary 75382.00
Mid Range Salary 93917.00
Maximum Salary 112452.00

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date.
