Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Course Developer and Instructor for The Center for Continuing and Professional Development.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Instructs/co-instructs course(s) for non-credit programs (may include traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or fully online courses).
• Prepares course materials (i.e. syllabi, presentations, hand-outs, reading materials, etc.).
• Provides constructive feedback to students as well as critical instruction regarding course/program work.
• Responds to student emails and inquiries.
• Adheres to university and program regulations, policies and deadlines.
• Practices innovative educational methodology.

FLSA Nonexempt

Salary Details A range of $75.00 - $125.00 per hour

Minimum Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in a related field or advanced certification in the relevant industry/discipline .
• Three years of instructional experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of classroom management and adult learning.
