BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Perform routine food service activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff; perform cashiering duties. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE OF: Standard kitchen equipment, utensils and measurements. Sanitation practices related to handling and serving food. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. ABILITY TO: Perform food service activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff. Serve food in accordance with health and sanitation regulations. Maintain food service equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Learn basic job specific computer skills. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATES Possession of a California Driver's license (required in some positions). If selected for the position, out-of-district applicants must be T.B. tested and fingerprinted. A practical skills test may be administered at the time of interview.
