Client: Nationally Known Food Manufacturer/Distributer

Role: Learning and Development Manager

Salary: $100,000-$120,000

Location: Swedesboro, NJ - *5-days a week in office*

Travel required 50% at Swedesboro, NJ and 50% other locations on the East Coast

  • They are looking for someone that has extensive experience in developing curriculum and content for adult learners
  • This candidate needs experience within manufacturing plants preferably within the CPG industry

Job Description:

  • Expert oversight of L&D programs - own and drive program design, implementation, impact measurement and sustainability, including continuous improvement when needed
  • Skilled coach & developer of people manager capabilities
  • Seasoned leadership skills trainer - EQ, performance coaching, personal effectiveness, etc.
  • Collaborative partner, expert advisor, and solution-oriented team member
  • Passion for people to succeed, and belief in their potential to learn and grow
  • Manage complexity in scope of L&D projects and diversity of business needs
  • Creative, out-of-the box thinking, in approach to traditional programs and processes
  • Mindset & ability to keep processes, tools, and programs simple, agile, scalable, and realistic
  • Self-manage work progress and outcomes, while proactively managing challenges that arise
  • Work quickly with high quality, to meet aggressive timeframes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning & development solutions design, implementation, and overall project management
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in employee development, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years advanced application of adult learning theory in program design
  • Expert facilitator of leadership development programs (Certification preferred)
  • Strong background of designing and implementing complex employee development programs (i.e. emerging leaders program, career path programs, new supervisors, etc.)
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual conference tools (MS Teams, or other)
  • Must be able to travel in the US & Canada, and work in manufacturing, company office and home office environments
