Apple’s Product, Design & Marketing (PD&M) Operations team is seeking a Spaces Program Manager who is responsible for driving space planning initiatives that go beyond logistics - supporting how work actually gets done within creative, collaborative environments. With a focus on balancing function, flow, and culture, the position plays a strategic part in shaping physical environments that align with both team needs and broader business objectives. The role requires a meticulous approach to documentation, floor planning, and space management. Accuracy and clarity are essential, with a high level of organization applied to everything from seating charts to occupancy data. In this role, you’ll report to the Spaces Program Lead, helping drive and execute space planning strategies that support our global creative studios. This is equal parts logistics, storytelling, and design sensibility. You’ll play a crucial role in projects within the spatial planning and seating strategy initiatives across our global portfolio. More specifically, you’ll manage construction-related projects, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and ensure that design plans are implemented accurately and meet the needs of our teams. You’ll also manage the development of programming and blocking plans for new spaces, and work with design leads to create seating plans that reflect team requirements and business priorities. AREAS OF FOCUS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: - Partnering with teams to assess evolving space needs and align them with long-term workplace strategy while balancing business requirements with team dynamics with diplomacy - Creating clear, compelling space plans that communicate vision and logistics to stakeholders across disciplines - Developing headcount and occupancy forecasts—then adjusting them as realities shift - Coordinating and managing the logistics behind seating moves, relocations, studio updates, and location-specific needs and liaising with cross functional partners - Maintaining current, accurate documentation of all studio layouts and planning decisions - Crafting visually compelling Keynote presentations that clearly communicate space strategies and captivate executive audiences while using data to support and drive decisions - Supporting global initiatives with nuanced space insights and detailed execution plans - Oversee studio security access globally, supporting confidentiality standards and operational security - Managing and troubleshooting conference room allocations and booking policies across studios
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,100 and $206,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
