Responsibilities
Job Summary
As a member of HonorHealth,the Database & ETL Admin II is responsible for data integration into the organization's reporting databases and Google Cloud Platform data stores.
The Database & ETL Admin II develops and maintains pipelines using Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Extract Load Transform (ELT) methods and Google Cloud Platform tools, Python scripts, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SOAP and REST API calls.
The Database & ETL Admin II designs databases and Google BigQuery datasets and creates objects, data mappings and transformations, creates and schedules batch and real-time data processing jobs, performs troubleshooting, monitoring and upgrading of systems. The Database & ETL Admin II resolves data quality and system performance issue, implements metrics to track data quality improvements over time, enhances current processes and systems, and provides guidance, mentoring, and training. The Database & ETL Admin II participates in a support on-call rotation facilitating off-hour work functions in support of incidents, upgrades, and project task fulfillment.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or four (4) years equivalent experience Required
Experience
3 years of experience in database or data warehouse, or Lakehouse administration. Required
1 year in a MS SQL Server or Cloud Platform environment. Required
1 year experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes. Required
