STUDENT SUCCESS MANAGER-HONORS STUDENT PROGRAMS - (T227197)

Description

To provide leadership and support to the Honors College in the areas including student success, student life, extracurricular student programming, and other programming of the Honors College. To act as a role model demonstrating professional behaviors. To think critically and strategically to identify needs and propose new and innovative solutions. To contribute to a supportive honors learning community.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Engages with administrators and faculty to develop, manage and implement student programming and learning opportunities in the Honors College related to student success, student life, extracurricular student programming, and a supportive honors learning community.
  2. Potentially serves as an academic advisor to students.
  3. Engages in and supports the development of innovative student programming, provides input into the development and/or modification of program objectives, and assesses program outcomes.
  4. Develops and coordinates honors events and activities for students in the college's specialized programs.
  5. Manages multiple programs.
  6. Serves as staff liaison for Honors College/specialized program student organizations and supports programming by those groups.
  7. Develops effective promotional and engagement strategies for honors programming and prepares informational materials for dissemination.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned

Annual Salary Range: $47665 - $58,000

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Higher Education Administration, Leadership Development, Counseling, or a related field, and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
