Job Summary

The primary responsibility for the role is to develop business from assigned local brokers and agents accounts. You will be responsible for contributing to overall business growth.

Job Duties

• Review allocated cases and delivering underwriting decisions, following agreed processes at the designated authority level in order to secure profitable business within the agreed risk appetite.
• Build and maintain relationships within assigned accounts. Understand the strategy, culture, personalities and customer base thoroughly. At the same time, ensure that customer’s fully understanding Allied World’s propositions.
• Focus on intermediary accounts and carry out training, attend calls, and maintain the profile of Allied World, and underwrite individual submissions from key business partners.
• Manage the overall sales pipeline with assigned intermediaries in order to achieve the annual sales targets.
• Manage customer interactions in an efficient, courteous and timely manner in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with finance and collection team to resolve discrepancies and streamline payment processes. Proactively engage with clients regarding payment timelines and outstanding balances, fostering relationships to encourage timely payments.
• Involve in ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in corporate account handling
• Energetic, well-organized persona with good international skill
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
• Professional qualification in insurance preferred
• Candidate with less experience will also be considered
