Assistant Controller (Hybrid)

They are looking for an Assistant Controller within the Finance team, serving as a key partner across all departments while managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close process preparation and review
• Prepare and maintain journal entries and reconciliations
• Support annual audit preparation
• Streamline AP/AR and vendor management processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
• Create A/R & A/P dashboards
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and legal guidelines
• Support internal controls and policies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders
• Handle ad hoc special projects

Required Qualifications

• 5-12 years of accounting and finance experience in professional services
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate numbers into actionable insights
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA certification or working towards it desired
• Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite preferred
