Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Responsible for requirements engineering, application development, and 2nd & 3rd level support to meet users' expectations and FI Operations Excellence/KPI.
- Provide 2nd-level and 3rd-level support to ensure issue tickets are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
- Drive problem management for proactive management of the FI system application services.
- Perform user requirements engineering, design, and development for FI solutions in the respective domain area.
- Perform testing, user training, and deployment of FI application solutions in systematic way.
- Undertake change & release management for FI application services / software deployment cycle.
- Monitor system health and capacity and perform pro-active system maintenance to ensure reliable 24x7 operation of mission-critical applications.
- Undertake 24x7 on-call duty where necessary.
- Contribute to corporate projects.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or any equivalent course.
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented application development (Java, .net, UML).
- At least one year of relevant work experience, e.g. in MVP design pattern, Eclipse RCP, Java Spring in SOA environments.
- In-depth knowledge of system administration in Windows and Unix environments (also Shell, Perl).
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, GPIB, COM), and machine controls is an added advantage.
- Experience in project management is an added advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills.
