About the Team The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV. The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimizing search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labeling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. What will I be doing? - Inspect labeled data on time to ensure overall quality - Thoroughly interpret and apply complex guidelines to the evaluated content - Localize and update labeling guidelines and deliver training and calibration meetings - Conduct calibration meetings with the labeling team (BPO/Vendor) in the appeal process: analyze different cases; record and evaluate their performance to achieve the target; and offer solutions and suggestions for the current problem to help the team improve the accuracy rate and alignment - Work and interact closely with POC and other stakeholders to provide timely and quality feedback on SOP/guidelines/data quality to optimize existing processes and to ensure overall project success.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or above - At least 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in data labelling, QA, quality improvement - Proficient level of Korean and English (reading, writing, listening, speaking) for daily communication. Communication skills between cross-functional internal teams and external vendors - Project management skills, familiarity with RCA and data analysis - Knowledge about search engines, familiarity with social media platforms Preferred Qualifications: - Overseas work/training experience or in a multicultural/multilingual environment is a plus - Deep understanding of search engine mechanisms, AI, and machine learning - Knowledge of the TikTok App, functions, and services especially related to Ads - Familiar with common office software
