What will you be doing?

This role will have responsibility for supporting and overseeing Molson Coors Commercial Analytics and Technology as part of the CPG-Client Insights organization. Molson Coors is a global company operating within the CPG Beverage space with large brands including Coors Light, Miller Lite, Blue Moon, Simply Spiked, Zoa, Fever Tree and many other great brands.

This role will engage primarily with Molson Coors Americas Commercial Accelerator (ACA), and is an individual contributor role. This is a player-collaborator role, where you will own Commercial Analytics and Technology projects and collaborate with several Client Insights counterparts and a primary commercial Analytics partner to provide advanced solutions across the commercial organization.

You will also partner with a number of internal solutions collaborators to deliver on the strategic needs of the client and help to develop the solution matrix for the account.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate should have strong leadership, collaboration and client management skills. They should have a very high analytic & insight capability utilizing POS and Panel data. They should have experience in leveraging and creating advanced technology solutions, including coding and Business Intelligence (BI) experience/background.

  • Technical Skills: Past experience and background in developing integrated data solutions, data connections via API, and advanced dashboards and interactive reporting. This is a more technical role than most standard Client Insights roles, and requires a technical background in addition to commercial analytics and business analysis and communication skills.
    • SQL coding background and/or other coding background strongly preferred.
    • Experience with BI solutions such as Tableau and/or Power BI preferred.
    • Experience and deep interest in data connections/APIs preferred.
  • Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for clients:
    • Approach client with coherent, actionable and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs.
    • Continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client with focus on leveraging technology and speed to insights.
    • Identify business issues and opportunities and suggests the appropriate level analytic solution/approach, while also best leveraging UNIFY+ platform and tools
    • Directly partner with Advanced Analytics counterpart to further connect analytics solutions to client’s commercial business needs. Leverage client business context to further identify custom Analytics opportunities and solutions. Partner with Advanced Analytics to integrate advanced solutions into BI front end and Unify+ for broader consumption/use.

    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
    • Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had
    • Ask questions to test assumptions and challenges the status quo
    • Synthesize information on a variety of issues; translate the information into a project framework that ultimately provides solutions for clients
    • Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship
    • Track and organize multiple work streams against multiple clients, and manage time and resources against changing priorities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, commercial tech or related fields
  • Marketing/sales and/or technology with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS data
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
  • Demonstrated technical experience with BI platforms (ie, Power BI, Tableau, Unify+) and general coding (ie. SQL)
  • Experience with syndicated data such as Liquid Data, thought Unify+
  • Strong project management, process, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Able to engage in consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables

This position can be located in the following area(s): Chicago, IL, approximately 3 days/week

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $142,000.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
