Job Description:

We seek an experienced engineer to develop digital strategies, offers, and experiences to drive client growth and loyalty, accelerating digital transformation. As part of the Digital Services team, youll enhance the customer journey through insights-driven, rapid iterations. This role involves significant technical delivery, cross-functional coordination, and ownership to transform our business. Youll work closely with technologists to define Schwabs digital strategy. Requirements:

  • 8+ years in Software Quality Assurance
  • 6+ years in automated test script development, execution, and maintenance
  • Technical lead experience (mentoring, code review, design support)
  • Hands-on coding in Ruby, Java, C#, or other OOP languages
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Agile Development Practices
  • Understanding of exploratory testing practices
  • Knowledge of industry tools for bug logging and test case management (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr)
  • Experience with web services virtualization
  • Ability to perform code reviews
  • Experience in scoping, sizing, and overseeing multiple projects
  • Proven leadership in large, complex QA organizations
  • Experience with innovative testing solutions in Enterprise Platforms
  • ATDD using Gherkin language (Cucumber, JBehave, SpecFlow)
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and lean methodologies
  • Experience with Jenkins/Bamboo/GIT

Responsibilities:

  • Lead test automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle
  • Drive CI/CD strategies with a DevOps philosophy using Atlassian stack
  • Set up and maintain test environments
  • Communicate automation strategies for web services, APIs, middleware, UI
  • Build automation frameworks to increase reuse and reduce effort
  • Keep automation current and flexible within a CI/CD framework
  • Develop methods for automation test data and data refresh capabilities
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure test coverage
  • Assist developers with unit/component/commit/build/deploy/CI/CD test automation
  • Recommend dynamic reports and metrics for automation efficiency
  • Educate and influence various levels of contributors and management
  • Collaborate with automation experts to plan and prioritize test automation solutions
  • Implement and lead CI/CD strategies
  • Maintain tools used in automation development
  • Influence and execute QA process and testing best practices
  • Use TDD/BDD/ATDD with Gherkin/Ruby/Cucumber
  • Streamline CI/CD pipeline and processes to decrease delivery lead time

Pay Range:

$55 - $63 per hour
