Overview
Directs, coordinates, and supervises the daily activities of engineers responsible for regulatory and compliance activities of PPL Electric Utilities and Rhode Island Energy. Responsible for the planning, coordination and technical direction of all NERC compliance related activities for both CIP and O&P 693 standards. Accountable for direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, safety leadership and technical guidance to assigned staff in support of producing high quality, timely and cost-effective solutions to technical and business objectives. The position is also accountable for the technical quality of the group's output and is expected to continuously improve capabilities in this area. This position makes decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plan. Typically, does not perform the work at the level being supervised, but will have individual technical and business-related assignments in support of department goals and special projects.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree ABET Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
2. 5+ years of experience in engineering with technical area related to the function of the work group
3. Demonstrated leadership skills by achieving positive results under non-ideal circumstances
4. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes and standards related to the electric utility industry
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of engineering with an emphasis on NERC compliance activities and audit functions.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction to technical and non-technical personnel
3. Sound judgment, technical insight, and strong initiative to direct other engineers on resolution of complex issues
4. Strong verbal and written communication and influencing skills
5. Ability to work well with individuals on all levels of the organization.
