Part-Time Technicians also enjoy: • Paid Sick Time • 401(k) with employer match • Generous Hospital Discounts • Flexible work schedule What We’re Looking For: ✅ Certification as a Veterinary Technician (Preferred, but not required) ✅ Experienced technician with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the veterinary field (including phlebotomy, laboratory skills, catheterization, surgical experience, vaccine protocols and knowledge of client education topics, and preventatives) ✅ Ability to handle and appropriately small animals (cats, dogs) with care and control(including fractious pets) ✅ Capable with lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating a two-story building with stairs ✅ Compassionate, goal oriented with a strong work ethic, and a positive team attitude ✅ Demonstrates clear and concise communication regarding client education skills, works to educate themselves regularly ✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and understands multitasking priorities, while also taking direction when necessary ✅ Willingness to show empathy, and handle the emotional and physical challenges of veterinary care, including end-of-life situations Your Daily Impact as a Veterinary Technician: ????
