About this opportunity:

Are you a student passionate about automation, Linux, and building smarter systems? Join our CI team in Budapest and help shape the future of telecom software delivery.

As a CI Student Developer, you will contribute to the development and improvement of our Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for Ericsson’s private cloud telecom product. You’ll gain real-world experience in scripting, automation, and DevOps, working with tools such as Python, Linux, Git, and Jenkins.

This is a hands-on role in a small and supportive team, ideal for curious students who want to learn fast and build systems that have a real impact.

What you will do:

• Support the development and maintenance of CI pipelines for cloud-native telecom products
• Automate build, test, and deployment steps using Python and shell scripting
• Collaborate with developers and integrators to improve workflow efficiency
• Contribute to internal tools that support testing and delivery processes
• Help troubleshoot CI issues and continuously improve system stability
• Learn modern DevOps tools and practices by doing, with real mentorship from experienced colleagues

You will bring:

• Active student status (minimum 20 hours/week availability)
• Python programming and Linux terminal experience
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve automation processes
• A proactive mindset and interest in CI/CD, integration, or infrastructure
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Bash scripting
• Knowledge of HTML/JavaScript or tool-related frontend (vanilla JS)
• Familiarity with container tech (e.g., Docker)
• Previous exposure to CI/CD or software delivery pipelines
