Job Summary:

Scope of Responsibilities:

This is a Test Engineering Manager position in the Secure Connected Edge (SCE) organization. The candidate will be responsible to build and develop a highly successful Test Engineering team responsible for designing and developing ATE test solutions including Hardware and Software elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of test solution for SCE IIoT and Auto NPI projects from product concept phase to product launch.
  • Own and drive NPI Test KPIs e.g. test program delivery schedule and test cost reduction.
  • Manage daily tactical and long term strategic initiatives with the test engineering team.
  • Drive continuous improvement. Evaluate new test methods to improve test coverage, accuracy and efficiency. Promote the new test methods within internal community.
  • Develop characterization and test methodologies/software for new IP blocks.
  • Manage 1st silicon validation, test program delivery and test hardware requirements to product engineer for qualification, characterization and manufacturing release.
  • Engage effectively with design, application and product engineering teams on key TE deliverables.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Test Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing a team with proven track record in leading NPI/NTI projects.
  • Demonstrated high level of leadership, management, team mentoring and decision making skills.
  • Extensive experience in launching new products and technologies.
  • Highly motivated, independent and self-driven. Able to identify, confront, and resolve difficult problems.
  • Creative thinking and ability to challenge the status quo. Lead innovation and improvement in test methodologies.
  • Strong presentation, documentation, communication and customer-facing skills. Capable of having technical discussions with cross-functional teams and strategic conservations at the executive level.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to develop strong and effective working relationships across the company
