This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible respite provider for a teenage girl who loves arts, crafts, swimming, and enjoys being out in the community. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys engaging in community-based activities, values creativity, and is committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for the teen. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the life of a young individual while fostering life skills and confidence. Pay: $14.13/hour (after tax rate) Location: Family home is in Eau Claire, WI - Care to take place in providers home & community Schedule: Flexible afternoon/evening shifts (WED & THUR) - 8 hours/week available Things She Enjoys: · Arts & crafts (Making jewelry, drawing, etc.) · Loves kids & babysitting · Swimming & water-based activities · Art Galleries & Museums · Music and Theater (local plays and theater events) Passes: YMCA Respite Setting: · Respite will take place in the provider's home as well as in the local community. · Activities should encourage active participation and community engagement (e.g., going to local parks, art galleries, or volunteering). Key Responsibilities & Qualities: · Foster an open and communicative relationship to build trust and comfort · Build on life skills related to responsibility and personal growth · Engage in social and creative activities together · Open to regular communication with the family and adaptable to a changing schedule. · A kind, trustworthy, and motivated individual who can offer structure while encouraging independence. · Provide mentoring and encouragement to help foster self-confidence and independence. Requirements: · Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation · Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
