Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and training, performance management and development of staff. Provides oversight of direct reports to ensure quality service is being provided by establishing and retaining long term business relationship and developing, leading and implementing strategies. Responsible for assessing team feedback and communicating team needs to leadership. Accountable for upholding Mayo Clinic brand and image during supplier/client and internal interactions, including Mayo Clinic's core values and support community-based health care approach. Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide service to MCS suppliers/clients and for strategy development and implementation. Accountable for effective communications, active listening, and willingness to adapt, adjust, and be supportive when objectives shift to ensure long-term viability and success of the enterprise. Responsible for conducting internal or external presentations as required by MCS. Required to lead teams through change management and adapt to the needs of MCS. Required to remain abreast of regulatory issues, market dynamics, reimbursement issues, and service requirements. Accountable to report to leadership of team activities. Domestic and international travel is required up to 60% including but not limited to air and auto. Immediate travel requests may be needed to support the business.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Life Sciences, or related field and eight years of customer service or healthcare related experience OR Master’s degree in Business, Management, Life Sciences, or related field and five years of customer service or healthcare related experience.
